Filling In a Profile's Details

After you create a profile, you finish it on the profile page itself. Nothing here is required up front — add details as you get them. This guide covers the Personal details, Contact information, and Addresses sections, plus the handy setup checklist.

At the top of a new profile you'll see Finish setting up [name]'s profile with a progress count (like 0 of 5). It's a quick way to fill the most common fields without opening a full editor — and as it says, nothing here blocks you, so you can ignore it and come back anytime.

Click any chip — Date of birth, Phone, Email, Address, or Contact pref — to open a small inline editor. Type your value and press Enter (or click Save).

A few shortcuts on the checklist:

Click Edit on the Personal details card to open Quick Edit, where you can update name fields and more: Title, First name, Last name, Middle name, Suffix, Nickname, Gender, Date of birth, and Language. Click Save changes when done.

Once a date of birth is saved, the profile shows the client's age automatically next to it — handy for eligibility at a glance.

Use the Add button on the Contact information card to add a phone number and email. You can store more than one number — a primary plus Secondary Numbers — and set the client's Preferred contact method from the dropdown.

Add a client's address from the Addresses card. Start typing to pick from suggestions, or enter it manually for a PO Box.

No more guessing the county: When you add an address, AdvantaCRM automatically fills in the correct county based on US postal records. You never have to look up or guess which county an address falls in — it's done for you, which matters for plan availability and accuracy.
