Not every row from a spreadsheet import comes in perfectly clean. When AdvantaCRM's data-quality checks catch something — a missing date of birth, an invalid phone format, a possible duplicate — that client still gets imported, but it's flagged for you to review.
This guide covers where to find those flags and how to clear them.
Where to find flagged clients
If you have unresolved review items, you'll see a count badge next to Import clients in your profile menu.
Open Import clients and scroll down to the Import review section. It lists every flagged client, along with a breakdown of what's flagged and why.
Each client's card shows their name, a link to Open profile, and one or more flag chips (for example, DOB) with a short explanation of what needs attention.
Fixing the underlying data
Click Open profile on a flagged client to go to their profile page. If required fields are still missing, you'll see a Finish setting up [Name]'s profile panel showing how many fields are left, with quick-add buttons for each one.
Fill in or correct whatever the flag is calling out — a missing date of birth, a bad phone number, an incomplete address, and so on.
Clearing the flag
Important: Fixing the data on a client's profile does not automatically clear the review flag. Flags stay open until you go back to the Import Review list and resolve them yourself.
Once you've corrected or confirmed a client's information:
Click Resolve next to an individual flag once you've handled it, or
Click Mark all resolved on that client's card to clear every open flag for them at once
Duplicate flags work a little differently — instead of correcting a field, you're deciding whether to keep the record or remove it if it shouldn't be in your book at all.
Work through the list until the count next to Import Clients drops to zero.
