Every template starts the same way — pick a type, pick a starting point, then build the content.
Getting there
From the Templates page, click New Template.
Step 1: Email or SMS
Choose which kind of template you're creating. This determines everything downstream — Email opens the full drag-and-drop builder, SMS opens a simple text editor.
Step 2: Choose a starting point
Start from Scratch — build a custom template with the drag-and-drop editor (Email) or a blank text box (SMS)
Shared — copy a template your agency has shared with you. This option only shows up if you're part of an agency that has shared templates.
Starter Templates — pre-built examples for common Medicare workflows (welcome messages, AEP reminders, birthday check-ins, and more)
Using a Starter Template
Browse by searching, or scroll the gallery. Each card shows a preview, its name, and its category tag. Click Use this template to create your template pre-filled with that content — everything is still fully editable afterward.
Step 3: Name it
Whichever path you take, give your template a Template Name and an optional Category, then you're dropped into the editor to build or adjust the content.
See The Email Template Editor or The SMS Template Editor for what comes next.
