If your agency has shared a drip campaign with you, you can start using it without building anything yourself. Your agency writes the emails and sets the timing. A five-step wizard walks you through reviewing the campaign, connecting your Intake Form, choosing clients, and turning it on.
Before you start: If the campaign uses an Intake Form, you'll need to pick one of your own forms during setup, and you won't be able to finish installing without one. Create the form you want to use in Intake Forms first. You can tell a campaign uses a form when Uses intake form appears on its card.
Find your agency's campaigns
Go to Drip Campaigns in the sidebar. You can get to your agency's campaigns two ways:
Click Agency campaigns at the top of the page. A number on the button means campaigns are available.
If you see a recommendation banner, click View recommended.
The Agency drip campaigns page lists every campaign your agency has shared with you. Each one shows:
A Managed by badge with your agency's name. Campaigns your agency recommends also have a Recommended badge.
The campaign name and description.
Quick facts: the most emails a client can receive, about how long the campaign runs, and whether it uses an Intake Form.
Find the campaign you want and click Install.
Step 1 of 5: Review the campaign
This step shows every email, wait, and condition check in the order clients will go through them, along with when each one happens:
Emails show their subject line. An Intake form tag means the email includes a link to an Intake Form.
Condition checks show what happens for each outcome. For example, Complete → End and Not complete → Send Final AEP Reminder.
Click Preview email on any email to read the whole message.
When you're done reviewing, click Continue.
Step 2 of 5: Personalize the campaign
Your agency decides whether each button or link in its emails goes to a web page or to an Intake Form. In this step, you point those links to your own page or form.
The table lists each email with a link that needs your input:
Email: the name of the email.
Link text: the button or link clients will click, like Update My Information.
What you fill in depends on the type of link:
Intake Form links: choose one of your forms from the Intake Form dropdown.
Web page links: enter your own URL.
Click Preview to see the email with your selections, then click Continue.
Step 3 of 5: Confirm who should be enrolled
Your agency's campaign comes with a recommended audience: a set of rules for which clients should receive it, such as Status: Active Client. AdvantaCRM checks those rules against your book and shows you how many of your clients match.
Choose one:
Use recommended audience enrolls every client who matches your agency's rules.
Add clients later installs the campaign without enrolling anyone. You can enroll clients whenever you're ready from the campaign's Stats tab or the Reports page.
Good to know: Nobody is enrolled yet at this point. Clients are only added when you activate the campaign in the last step.
Click Continue.
Step 4 of 5: Confirm the start
This step compares your agency's target start date with today's install date.
You don't need to pick a date. The campaign follows your agency's timing:
Installing before the target date: the campaign waits and starts automatically on your agency's date.
Installing after the target date has passed: the campaign starts right away.
Click Continue.
Step 5 of 5: Review & activate
Here's a final summary of your setup:
Campaign: the campaign name and the agency that manages it.
Required links: each link and the Intake Form you connected to it.
Audience: how many clients will be enrolled.
Start: when the campaign will begin.
If anything looks off, click Back to fix it. When everything looks right, click Activate campaign.
Good to know: Once the campaign is active, clients who complete the Intake Form automatically stop receiving reminder emails.
After you install
Your installed campaign appears on the Drip Campaigns page alongside the campaigns you've built. A Managed by your agency badge lets you tell them apart.
Each card shows:
The campaign's status, such as Active.
The campaign name and description.
How many clients are enrolled.
When the campaign starts.
When the campaign was last updated.
Your agency manages this campaign, so you can't edit its steps. You can still add clients and see where everyone is in the journey.
