Sharing a Quote

You can email any Medicare, Hospital Indemnity, or Dental, Vision & Hearing quote to a client as a PDF, or download the PDF yourself. You don't need to save the quote first.

Finding Share

Click Share at the top of the page, then choose Email to client or Download PDF. You'll find it on:

  • Plan details for Medicare and DVH plans.

  • Comparison pages for Medicare and DVH plans.

  • Hospital Indemnity quotes and carrier comparisons.

  • Any saved quote once you click View.

You can also share a saved quote without opening it. On the Quotes page, click the three dots beside View, then choose Share to email it or Download to get the PDF.

Emailing a quote

  1. Click Email to client. On a saved quote card, click Share.

  2. If the client has more than one email address, choose one under Send to. Addresses marked Do Not Send aren't listed.

  3. Under Content, keep Template to send the standard message, or choose Custom to write your own subject and message.

  4. Check the preview, then click Send PDF.

Good to know: If the client has no email address on file, add one in their Contact section first.

The email then appears in the Conversations card on the client's Notes & Activities section, labeled Quote PDF.

What's in the PDF

Every PDF shows the client's name, the date of the quote, and your contact details.

  • Medicare plan — costs, benefits, and the client's prescriptions and pharmacies, priced at the pharmacy you're viewing. Prescriptions and pharmacies are always included.

  • Medicare or DVH comparison — the same details side by side. Comparisons of 4 or 5 plans print sideways so every column fits.

  • DVH plan — the premium, benefits, and riders you selected. Other riders are listed as optional.

  • Hospital Indemnity quote — the selected benefits and premium. A quote matched to the client's Medicare Advantage plan also includes that comparison.

  • Carrier comparison — each carrier's rating, fees, benefit amount, and estimated premium.

PDFs aren't saved

AdvantaCRM creates the PDF when you share it and doesn't keep a copy. Sharing a quote also doesn't save it, so click Save quote if you want to come back to it.

To keep a PDF with the client's file, download it and upload it to their Documents section.

A saved quote's PDF shows the prices and date from when it was saved, no matter when you share it.

When Share isn't available

  • Estimates are still loading. Share turns on once the prices finish.

  • A carrier comparison has more than one page of results, which means more than 10 products, or no results at all. The PDF would leave out the other pages.

  • A saved quote is missing the details a PDF needs. Its menu only shows Delete. Run a new quote and share that instead.
