The Quote Center

The Quote Center is where you quote plans for a client without leaving their profile. Medicare, Hospital Indemnity, and Dental, Vision & Hearing all start from the same page, and the quotes you save stay with the client.

Getting there

Open a client's profile and click Quotes in the section rail to the left of the profile.

Heads up: Hospital Indemnity quoting used to be under Ancillary Quotes. It now lives here with everything else.

What you can quote

  • Medicare — Medicare Advantage and Part D plans with prescription cost estimates.

  • Hospital indemnity — cash benefits for hospital stays, which can be matched to the client's current Medicare Advantage plan.

  • Dental, vision & hearing — standalone plans and optional riders.

Reading the page

Each product has its own section. The counter beside the section name shows how many quotes are saved for this client, such as 2 of 3 saved.

Saved quotes appear as cards showing the carrier, plan, price, and the date you saved them. Click View to reopen one, or click the three dots beside it to share, download, or delete it.

While there's room, the section also shows a tile for starting a new quote, such as New Medicare quote, with the number of open spots.

Starting a quote

Click New quote at the top of the page, or click the new quote tile in the section you want. A short wizard walks you through the setup.

The first step asks what you're quoting. You can switch products here at any time. The steps after that depend on the product:

  • Medicare — Coverage, Member, Pharmacies.

  • Hospital indemnity — Coverage, Member, Quote type.

  • Dental, vision & hearing — Coverage, Member, Benefits.

AdvantaCRM fills in what it already has on the client's profile, so you're usually just reviewing it.

The 3-quote limit

Each client can have up to 3 saved quotes per product, so that's 3 Medicare, 3 Hospital Indemnity, and 3 Dental, Vision & Hearing. To save another once a product is full, remove one first.
